Reproject a vector layer⚓

This algorithm reprojects a vector layer. It creates a new layer with the same features as the input one, but with geometries reprojected to a new coordinate system.

Attributes are not modified by this algorithm.

  1. Use the Processing Toolbox pannel on the right and search for Reproject layer toolbox.

  2. Open the toolbox by double-clicking on it and enter the parameters.

    1. Set the Input vector layer that needs to be reprojected

    2. Set the target coordinate system of the new vector layer

    3. Click to Save to File...

  3. Save the output file in the desired folder

    1. Select the drive that will host the output folder

    2. Select the folder that will host the output file

    3. Name the output file and add the relevant file extension (like SHP for vector and TIFF for raster).
