Joins a table or vector based on a field containing common information. Creates a new dataset containing the joined data.

  1. In the toolbox panel, search for 'Join attributes by field value'.

  2. Choose the layer you want to add fields to.

    ⚓

  3. Choose the field in this layer that contains the matching values in the second layer.

    ⚓

  4. Choose the layer containing the information you want to add.

    ⚓

  5. Choose the field in the second layer that contains the matching values.

    ⚓

  6. Save the output layer.
